The studio and gallery are located beside our family home in the original homestead at "Sunnyview" Miles and is set amoungst the picturesque 90+ year old jacarandas, gardens and creek views.
My husbands family have lived in the area all their lives as have my family. The Bourne family moved to "Sunnyview" in the early 1970's and settled on the banks of the Dogwood. I moved to Sunnyview in 2001 after we were married and built a new home. We have spent a great deal of time creating our home and surrounding gardens to make it a place to share and enjoy with family and friends. The house, garden and studio sit on the banks of the Dogwood Creek, an abundance of wildlife live along the creek and visit the garden daily. I am continually inspired by my enviornment and love spending time at home, in the garden and enjoying the peaceful surrounds. It is our oasis! |
